Psychoeducational Assessment

A thorough assessment often entails:

  • One hour parent and/or child Interviews and review of previous reports
  • One hour Observation of child in natural setting (e.g., classroom, home)

Four to six hours Assessment of:

  • Cognitive learning style and profile
  • Current levels of academic functioning (Reading, Written Expression, Mathematics)
  • Neuropsychological Assessment of Memory, Attention, Language, Fine-Motor and Visual-Spatial Skills
  • Emotional functioning (e.g., Anxiety, Depression)
  • Four hours of Analysis and Report Writing
  • One to two hours Feedback meeting
Schools recommend a Psychoeducational Reassessment every two to three years.

Gifted Assessment

A gifted assessment typically entails:

Three hours Assessment of:
  • Cognitive learning style and profile
